Context
We are recruiting a Strategy Manager / Incubator Director for multiple start-up tech projects.
Our firm has few new projects in the pipeline (Events, Real Estate, Crowdfunding, Building Materials etc.) and we are looking to recruit an ambitious, technology-driven and a highly motivated individual to continue looking at tech solutions that we can use for various ongoing start-up projects.
In this role, you will be developing the business cases for digital opportunities that have the greatest impact. You will understand, interpret and identify solutions to business challenges, challenging assumptions and encouraging changes, through a tight collaboration with the managers of various projects. In this role you will provide analysis and insight to support projects both business-wise and on more ad-hoc basis.
Responsibilities (Tasks)
- Undertake regular market mapping / engagement to identify and monitor entrants or initiatives that can be of benefit.
- Keeping informed of latest developments in Tech and communicating with the relevant departments within the business
- Attend Tech or wider technology events to monitor the latest trends that will affect the businesses
- Host pitches from start-ups looking to collaborate with our business and be the point of contact throughout the process
- Interpret findings and share the key themes and challenges to be overcome in the near and future with Division Managers
- Market research, detection of needs, competition analysis
- Define problems through proactive investigations and find relevant partners and solutions to address / resolve identified
- Lead small ad-hoc agile projects when they arise, including time sensitive outcomes
- Run early adoption labs to deliver fast and valuable feedback for solution adoption or investment assessments
- Identify trends and insights, and optimize costs and performance based on the insights
- Clients and partners relation, consulting and negotiation, preparation of sales documentation
- Content creation and design of Company’s corporate documents and templates
- Accounting tasks
- Supervision of sales and prospecting teams and KPI monitoring
- Human resources management and recruitment tasks
- Design, build, maintain and update the company’s social media presence
- Measure and report performance of digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
Skills and required experiences
- Business school degree (Bachelor or Master’s degree) in Finance or IT
- Successful experience in incubators and start-up ecosystems
- Keen interest in Tech and driving innovation
- Passion for the latest cutting-edge technologies
- Fluent in French and English
- Ability to manage various projects at one time
- Must be a clear communicator who can build effective relationships with stakeholders
- Confident and ambitious with Excellent sales skills and Business acumen
- Data-driven and mathematically minded with problem-solving skills
- Startup mentality with rapid prototyping/execution
- Project management experience in launching new services and solutions
